Main Teachings
In his life the Spiritual Father, Reverend Tokumitsu Kanada, received 18 precepts from God. He predicted after his death another three would be added and combined the 21 would comprise a complete and true religion.
Precepts & Guidelines
In 1924 those final three precepts came to the First Founder, Tokuharu Miki, as he prayed at the site of the Spiritual Father’s death. The religion the First Founder then established was Perfect Liberty’s precursor Hito-no-michi. In 1947, one year after the creation of Perfect Liberty, the Second Founder, Tokuchika Miki, received a second set of 21 precepts for the new era; these became the foundation of the Church of Perfect Liberty. Together with the 21 precepts, the 21 guidelines lead followers in how to live their human lives as God intended so that they lead fulfilled and enjoyable lives.
